Class Descriptions
Strength Training
BodyPump
The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-workout exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast. Advanced sign-up required at the Front Desk.
Cardiovascular Training & Indoor Cycle
ZUMBA & ZUMBA LOW IMPACT
Zumba fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. Achieve long term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!
Qi Gong
Involves strengthening, stretching, balance, deep breathing, and visualization exercises to bring the body, mind, and spirit together. Gentle on the body, easy on the joints, good for circulation, internal organs, and overall health.
Strength & Stretch
This class is an innovative blend of low impact cardio, strengthening exercises, and stretching for flexibility and relaxation. This socially oriented program promotes health and fitness for life.
Spinning
Spinning is the original and most recognized name in indoor cycling, training, education and equipment. Uniquely tailored to suit a wide range of abilities and fitness goals, from first time exerciser to bicycle racer, the Spinning program combines sound training principles, expert coaching, inspirational music, and a unique mind body philosophy, all at a self-directed pace. Heart rate monitors are available. See front desk for details. All experience and fitness levels welcome. Ages 14 and above. Advanced sign-up required at the front desk.
SPIN CORE
Spin Core blends 30 minutes of cardio on the indoor cycle followed by 30 minutes of core strengthening exercises for a total body workout. Class format will vary, but each class will include strength, flexibility, core focus, and relaxation.
Mind/Body
Yoga
Traditional yoga focusing on breathing, technique and body alignment, relaxation, & meditation. Ideal for flexibility, strength, muscle balance and relaxation. Ideal for flexibility, strength, muscle balance and relaxation. An excellent class for beginner to intermediate levels.
Pilates
This mat class moves through all the essential exercises and prepares students for the intermediate exercises. Focus is on the basic Pilates principles, including proper breathing, and shoulder and pelvic girdle stabilization. Students will improve core strength, balance and flexibility. Pilates experience is recommended but not necessary prior to taking this class.
Les Mills Group Fit Formulas
Les Mills classes are developed by a team of professionals choreographers and athletes and distributed around the world in 55 countries. Music and choreography are changed every 3 months. Les Mills instructors are certified in the programs they teach. Please visit www.lesmillsusa.com
Basic Policies
* Class schedule is subject to change.
* Members must check-in at the reception desk prior to attending class.
* Appropriate workout attire and footwear are required.
* New member to class please arrive a few minutes early to consult with the instructor.
* Advanced reservations must be made either by phone or at the reception desk for indicated classes.
* Please do not perform your own routines during class, as this may be disruptive to other members.
* Use of heavy perfumes or colognes is discouraged.
* No Cell phones ringing in classes or used to take any photos.
* MG classes are designed to accommodate all fitness levels. Modifications will be provided.
